outfit breakdown -
well because this is the only photo salvaged that shows my entire outfit (sans my new yellow pointed heels courtesy of madewell) i thought i’d do a quick breakdown of my carrie bradshaw inspired look.
printed pants - madewell
yellow belt - jcrew
white oxford - h&m
bowtie - stolen from the closet of mr. jon allen himself
earrings - house of harlow
and a whole lot of hairspray to top it all off
what started off as a small gathering of everything under the sun turned blue (cupcakes, balloons, and bowties gallore), became a night not to remember…well for me i guess ;) g&ts, relay races to cvs in the snow, the most amazing champagne toast to date (from success, to sexy, to sl33p0v3rs), frosting fights, new jm curley friends, whole boxes of nyp (alone i may add), videos i hope to soon forget, and the best birthday a boy could ask for.
we love you jon allen and now it’s time that i not only add more bowties into my everyday wardrobe, but to start planning saint kelseys day weekend
cool girls, wearing even cooler sunglasses.
sass and bide: australian, of course, and killing it with their new line of sunglasses:
please, appear on my face.
let’s do something shady

well we all know i have a slight obsession of jcrew gems, and these here may or may not fit my adult size wrists but i’m hoping with their glittery eye candy and amazing price point, that i can squeeze my limbs to fit in these
wishing i were still a petit preschooler,

really missin’ these gals right about now. you know what i wanna, what i wanna, what i really really wanna?
i want the 90s to make an immediate comeback, for pleather suits to be the norm, and for platform sandals to make their way back into my everyday life. just kidding… well not really at all
m can we please start our 90s grind immediately?
hopeless romantic of all things cropped, platformed, and leathered,

-New Order
Today, is one of the few snow days, Boston has recieved this winter. I think it’s a sign. Snow is metaphoric, it means a lot of things (all good), and is used frequently in literature. Snow is the beginning of something new. Snow is innocence.
Today, the snow came down hard, its was beautiful, and it marked the beginning of something new for me, and dancing around in Sam’s dorm room, to his vinyl versions (yes he has this song on two different mixes on two different 12” and the 7’…dedication), I think today, may have been the start of something new for him as well.
Anyways, New Order brought Sam and I together: the beginning of something new.
This track; however, reminds me of snow. It feels beautiful, it sounds even better, and while i was jumping up and down, I felt, for a split second, like I was five again.“I’ve never met anyone quite like you before”
