salut, ciao, nei ho…or for the less-linguistically inclined: hello, hello. let’s begin with a little story. enter boston, fall, 2010, and this, lovely readers (or followers), is where we begin. the characters you may ask? one lovely, fashion forward, free-spirited connecticutlet (k), plus one cali-native, music worshipper, surfer girl (m) whom combine (by some supernatural act of god) to form a friendship that bears a bond so thick, it’s like trying to break solid metal (…it just won’t happen). here, you see, consequently: we laugh. we cry. we party. we adventure. we have great friends going great places, and we, ourselves, celebrate some pretty stellar resumes, as well. every week we find ourselves cramming for classes, kissing (sometimes) cute boys (woops), drinking things our parents probably wouldn’t approve of, and attempting to make it through some of americas’ harshest weather patterns. so, we dare you, whoever you may be out there, to join in on m and k's day-to-day explorations in the bean as we navigate through college, the city, and life. oh yah, we can be pretty funny sometimes too.

with love

We like panda’s and mustaches, and we’re Jews: Jews, that is, with a mutual luuuurv for music, musika, or musiq. What gives us any credibility, you may be wondering? Nothing. Jk. Lol we’re kind of legitimate. Hi, my name’s Madi, and shalom, my names Sam. Sam plays the guitar. Madi’s a music journalist. Madi likes mustaches, more than Sam does. Sam like’s Asian things, they both like, Anvil, the story of Anvil. The best part? When Anvil, plays in Japan: tank u Asia. Sam’s from England, and he listens to Joy Division a lot, which has caused a significant drop off in his life expectancy. One time, Madi dyed Sam’s hair in her bathroom: blue. This was, after she dyed her hair purple…it’s blonde again, now. Really blonde. So, let’s talk music. Madi has a stuffy nose, but she also loves punk rock music. Lyk Aiden, but not really, more like, huh, The Adicts, or The Ramones, or The Goons of Doom…maybe even Tiger Army. So, What’s the point of this, and, uhm, time and energy? We want to bring to you, whoever you may be out there, on the interweb, something substantial. We’re sick of all the edgy music blogs and publications out there. we’re not trying to find the newest, the weirdest, or the hippest stuff. we’re not just trying to bring you the future of music. we’re here, to talk the past, the present, and the future. With that, it’s not just really good music we want to address, but music and everything else that comes along with it: the music, the shows, the bands, the crazed fans, and Sam and Madi, and, well, our place in the whole thing. Sayanora bitches.

With love,
